Supporting Education
Over a billion dollars to education and counting
When it comes to our kids' education, our expectations are high. And at a time when states are looking for new ways to generate revenue to support quality education, expectations are even higher.
Since 1964, the New Hampshire Lottery has been doing its part by exceeding expectations. Approximately 30 cents of each dollar we take in goes back to the state in the form of aid to education. As of fiscal year 2008 that has meant over $1.2 billion has been earmarked for education — money that has helped provide a brighter future for all our kids, and that’s lucky for all of us.
